Healix Physiotherapy in London

Ring the member helpline printed on your policy card, say you would like physiotherapy, describe the area that is bothering you, and name IP Physio (Ilias Paschopoulos) as the practice you want to attend. The adviser will log the claim and read out an authorisation reference along with the number of visits they have released.

Our Healix provider reference is PHYPASCH000. Mention it to the adviser so they can match the claim to IP Physio quickly.

Because Healix administers cover on behalf of employers and other schemes, the exact requirements can vary between arrangements. The adviser will tell you whether a GP or occupational health referral is expected before sessions are released.

Healix-funded appointments run for 60 minutes, both the initial assessment and the follow-ups, as with all our insurers other than Bupa and AXA Health.

Expect a full history, a physical assessment of movement, strength and load tolerance, objective testing where it adds value, and a written plan with review points.

We invoice the insurer for you, so there is nothing to reclaim afterwards, as long as a valid authorisation reference is in place before your first visit. Anything your policy makes you personally liable for, most commonly the excess, is settled with us on the day.

When the approved sessions are nearly used we let you know so an extension can be requested in good time. We can provide a clinical summary, and continuing privately at our standard rates remains an option.
