    WPA Physiotherapy in London

IP Physio is recognised by WPA, so members can be assessed and treated at our Soho, Marylebone, Canary Wharf and Notting Hill Gate clinics with the invoice going straight to the insurer.

What to have ready before your first session

    • Your WPA membership or policy number
    • The claim or authorisation reference WPA provides
    • The number of physiotherapy sessions agreed
    • The excess or shortfall your plan leaves you to pay
    • Scan reports, X-rays or a referral letter if you have them

    Before your first visit

Ring the member helpline printed on your policy card, say you would like physiotherapy, describe the area that is bothering you, and name IP Physio (Ilias Paschopoulos) as the practice you want to attend. The adviser will log the claim and read out an authorisation reference along with the number of visits they have released.

Our WPA provider number is 921138029. Please pass it on if the adviser needs it to locate us on their system.

You do not need a doctor's referral to be seen by us. A referral only matters where WPA itself asks for one as a condition of the claim, so the answer comes from the adviser you speak to.

    How long your sessions run

WPA sits with the majority of insurers we work with, meaning every appointment, first assessment and follow-ups alike, is a full 60 minutes. That gives us room for detailed testing and hands-on treatment in the same visit.

Where it is clinically useful we quantify strength and loading with dynamometry and force plate testing so progress is measured rather than estimated.

    Costs and further treatment

We invoice the insurer for you, so there is nothing to reclaim afterwards, as long as a valid authorisation reference is in place before your first visit. Anything your policy makes you personally liable for, most commonly the excess, is settled with us on the day.

If more rehabilitation is needed once the approved sessions are finished, contact WPA and explain that treatment remains clinically necessary. We will supply a summary letter, and self-pay continuation at our published rates is always available.
